While the concept of Big Data emerged in the early 21st century it has only gradually become understood by the public. To put it simply, Big Data refers to obtaining a large amount of valid data and using it to undertake analysis to get required conclusions. While most people understand the basic concept of Big Data, they do not know its applications. Only when big data is applied in industry will it be valuable. This article introduces the development of large data in developed countries, and contrasts it with the application of Big Data in a company called Baifendian.
